Sugarcane harvest in Khuzestan Province

Sugarcane harvesting starts every year from the beginning of November in the fields of Khuzestan in the cities of Khorramshahr, Shadegan, Karoun, Ahvaz, Bavi, Shush and Shushtar.

In case of suitable weather conditions, the harvest season will continue until the end of March at the latest.

After harvesting, the product is converted into sugar and by-products.
